Topaz, birthstone for November,
Topaz is naturally transparent but is usually tinted by impurities giving it a yellowish
colour.
When treated, topaz can be made a variety of colours including pink, white and blue.
Blue and pick topaz are the most commonly found colours set in jewellery although we are able
to set yellow– gold colour topaz.
Blue stones come in 3 main colours; Sky blue, Swiss blue and London blue.
Blue topaz is the traditional stone for the 4th wedding anniversary and connects to the
astrological sign of Sagittarius.
The stone is thought to balance emotions and give feelings of joy.
