Sapphire is the birthstone for September, not only is there the more traditional Blue Sapphire which comes in various different shades of blue starting from a paler cornflower blue to a rich royal blue colour and then even to a deep inky black colour.
There are a vast range of Sapphire colours starting from colourless to black. Here are some images of the various colours that are avaliable.
